Monthly Operational Review & Evaluation Program
Preventative
and proactive policies and procedures are a more constructive
way to help management with union avoidance.
Industrial Relations Consultants, Inc. specializes in assisting
clients with the day-to-day decisions that affect the stability
and atmosphere of a workplace.
Our
staff has been extremely successful in keeping many organizations
union free through positive, ongoing management training
programs and on site consulting.
The
M.O.R.E. Program is an on-going, preventive labor relations
program, a “periodic check-up”, to
assessment your organization’s working environment, and
then design a strategy that promotes a positive, union-free workplace.

of the "M.O.R.E." Program

First, our consultants
will conduct an overall assessment of your employee attitudes and perceptions.
The assessment process is as follows:
-
Meet
with supervisors to assess their attitudes towards work, management
and employees.
-
Meet
with individual employees to evaluate their attitudes regarding the
work place and identify employee relations issues that need to be
addressed by management.
-
Meet
or communicate with senior management to discuss findings and appropriate
courses of action to be taken.

Find
and utilize the employee “Peer Group” leaders.

Pinpoint
problematic issues between management and the work force and implement
solutions.

Identify
and monitor employee problematic employees.
-
Detect
company’s vulnerability in regard to union organization.
-
Facilitate
excellent communication between management, supervisors and employees
to prevent union organizing.

Next, our consultants
will recommend a strategy to improve employee relations and reduce the
risk of union organizing. Our strategy may include one or more of the
following:
Supervisor
Training & Leadership Development - Supervisor and Leadership
Development Training in subjects such as the “Role of the Supervisor”,
“Improving Communication Skills”, and “Creating an
Open Communication Climate” may be offered. Individual coaching
to supervisors
on relevant subject areas will also be provided. Training will be available
in either English or Spanish.
Organizational Development - Our Organizational Development
program enables business leaders, managers and key influencers to develop
structures and processes that supports the mission and goals of the
organization, as well as adapt to new technologies, markets, and cultural
challenges.
All services are
available in both English and Spanish.
